The purpose of the iron plate calibration is to calculate the total signal strength of the radar system as the basis for the thickness calculation.
1m 3 1m flat iron plate placed directly below the radar antenna, open the data acquisition software calibration menu, select the iron calibration, the system automatically collect and store the reflected signal.

The car starts at the starting point of the measured road section, and at the same time, click the acquisition button of the acquisition program, the system automatically collects the data and reaches the end of the measured road section to stop collecting. The whole process as far as possible to keep the car to reduce bumps, smooth driving, speed can be controlled at 50-80 km.
After the acquisition, open the oscilloscope software on the waveform data collection to determine the data collection has been successful.
Calibration of air
The purpose of null calibration is to determine the clutter generated by the signal in the air antenna, in the latter part of the data processing to filter, easy to identify the waveform.
Carefully remove the air antenna so that the bottom surface of the radar is facing upwards. Make sure that the data cable is not twisted during installation. Select Data Acquisition Software Calibration menu, click on the empty calibration, acquisition and storage of data.
